Collapsed Crypt in Otkhta Monastery Ruin - Georgian Church (Turkey)

It does not look like this crypt has ever been excavated. I wonder if there are any treasures in there.

When i arrived in this remote ruin after driving 5 miles of a dirt road, I found a large group of Japanese scientists with a van full of telemetry, photography and video equipment. They explained that they were working for a University project and they were mapping and recording as much information as possible, images and data, about the old Georgian church ruins in the region, since they are threatened and likely to degrade and collapse, especially in this region that has occasional earthquakes.
