Photos of people riding the free Zip-Line over San Francisco's Justin Herman Plaza (near the Embarcadero Center).
The zip-line is a promotional campain by the British Columbia Tourism Office of Canada.
The 183-metre long line over Justin Herman Plaza will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily until April 18 2010. It was set up by officials from British Columbia looking to lure tourists to the province this summer.
People are waiting hours Thursday to climb up a scaffold tower, get belted into a harness and cruise past the Ferry Building while looking off to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
The ride, modelled on a zip line set up in downtown Vancouver during the Olympics, is free.

Photographer's tips: In order to give the motion blur effect in the background, I often used slow shutter (with the S-mode). And to prevent the camera from focusing on the background, I often had to use manual focus.
