Jeepneys are the main public transportation in the Philippines. They are like municipal bus lines, but they are privately owned. Each jeepney deserves a particular destination, and passengers can hop on and off along their route.
Jeepneys are also used for long-distance, inter-city lines. They are often overcrowded and less comfortable than big buses, but they are much cheaper, too.
They are all custom made and decorated, not two are ever identical. Just like Philippines Tricycles, they are often very colorful (to the point it hurts the eyes!), often covered with Christian psalms or references to God.
