The top of a very large and very high waterfall near Mawlynnong in the East Khasi Hills, in Meghalaya (India)
I took this photo at the dry season, and there was very little water, making is easy to cross the river by foot.
The huge rock sitting there is about 2 meter (6 feet) high. Locals say it is a holy rock. Some day the raging monsoon river water will send it crashing down the waterfall.
The waterfall (behind the ridge on the left, not visible on this photo) goes down probably about 100 meter (70 feet), towards a very narrow gorge that seems unreachable without climbing ropes.
