Millions of bats fly out of Deer Cave every evening - Mulu (Borneo)

In the evening, bat colonies fly out of the cave, forming swarms in the sky. The mesmerizing event lasts for about half an hour, just before sunset.

Deer Cave is home to about 4 million Wrinkle Lipped Bats that live in colonies high up in the cave ceiling. Every evening all the bats fly out in huge swarms and clouds to feed.
