A woman reflects in silence near a simple altar she made with candles and marigold flowers.

This is a small "Altar de Muerto" (Memorial Shrine) in honor of someone who passed-away recently. Those shrines made during the Dia de Los Muertos (Mexican traditional Day of the Dead celebrations, each year on Nov 2nd).
