Ancient Toraja memorial stones (menhirs) site in a forest - Sulawesi Island, Indonesia

Toraja people erect Megalith Menhirs / Memorial Stones that they call "simbuang batu", to commemorate the deceased. Many menhirs are believed to be about 500 years old, but Torajan people still erect new megalith.
