Barefoot Hindu pilgrim on mountain trail - Amarnath Yatra (pilgrimage) - Kashmir

This man took a very hard dangerous trail short-cut in an abrupt area. I had hiking shoes with good grip and I considered taking this short-cut, but I decided against it, because a few places were really dangerous, and slipping could mean breaking a leg or worst (nearest hospital is days away!). But Sadhus (Hindu holy men) would walk there bare-feet.
