This wild horse was a bit tired, so it laid down on the ground, and dosed off with its snount on the grass! I didn't know horses would do that.

I stayed a long time with those wild horses, so they were less nervous about me and became confident that I was a friend. That's how I was able to take those photos.

This horse was part of a herd of wild horses that were roaming near a mountain pass in Italy.
