BLM Rangers arrested a guy who was riding a scooter on the playa at night. Riding a scooter (and any other unauthorized motor vehicle) on the playa during the event is not allowed, and this guy should have read the rules. Plus, he had no helmet. He probably got a hefty ticket.
I saw a lot of abusive police action on the playa this year, but in this case, they did their job right.
