Christian pilgrims praying (Saigon)

Pilgrims gather to pray around the base of a statue of the Virgin Mary in front of the Saigon Cathedral. Anything or anyone that touches the base of this statue becomes holly. Many pilgrims had small bottles of water that they would hold against the red stone, to make holy water.
