View from the summit of Torre di Toblino in the Dolomites Mountains (Italian Alps). The ledge on the left is about 5' wide with vertical cliffs of several hundred feet on each side. That was my first climb of a Via Ferrata, and it was a bit above my beginner's level at the time, but I managed to reach the summit.
