Toraja rock-tombs in a rock-wall, along the road, across rice paddy fields - Sulawesi island, Indonesia
In front of the tombs there are some miniature alang-alangs with theyr typical roofs.
The miniature alang is a small, decorated replica of a traditional Torajan house or tongkonan, and is often placed near a tomb. It is believed to accompany the soul of the deceased to the afterlife and to provide them with a comfortable dwelling place in the spiritual realm.
