Glossy Swiftlet (Collocalia esculenta) chicks in nest, spotted in a an old military cave on the road near Manado (Sulawesi Island, Indonesia)
There were several nests in the cave, glued to the walls. The swiftlet female uses her spit as glue, to construct nests in protected places.
There were baby birds in each nest, and I managed to take photo of the female birds attending their babies.
There were also huge spiders in this cave.
