The houses of this old village are built with stone and mud. The streets (only for pedestrians and cows) are narrow and convoluted, like a maze, and sometimes you just don't know if you are still on a street or in a private house.
The street level of the houses are for the animals (cows, goats). Houses are very few windows, to keep them warmer in the winter time.
Stairs are often made of a single tree trunk hollowed-out with carved steps, like on this photo.
