In Nepali language, those ubiquitous communal platforms with a roof, where people can sit and rest, are called "Pati".
In the old city of Bhaktapur (Nepal), people live the same traditional way they were living hundreds years ago. Except for a few motorcycles and electric wires, nothing has changed for centuries.
Bhaktapur is one of the Royal Cities of Nepal, located about 10 Km East of Kathmandu.
