Ruins of Burned-Down modern Longhouse (Borneo)

It looks like a war zone.

This is the ruins of the Government-built longhouse in Batu Bungan Penan village near Mulu. The longhouse burned down accidentally in Dec 2010. There was no injuries, but it left 28 Penan's families homeless. They now live in individual wooden houses that they built near the river.
