Woman and boy pumping water at a hand pump near an old Muslim cemetery (India)
Like in most villages in India, there is no running water and people get their water from hand pumps or water wells.
Traditionally, women and girls are in charge of the water chores.
This photo is part of a series that I took in a small rural Indian village.
