Photos of the Mazu Crew and their art, at Burning Man 2016.
The Mazu crew are a group of Taiwanese volunteers from a culture and art foundation in Taiwan called the Dream Community.
The members of this camp were all Chinese, mostly from Taiwan, with some coming from Hong Kong and Mainland China (PRC, aka People's Republic of China).
They created an art car (Zulai), a giant sculpture of Mazu, Taiwanese popular Goddess of the Empty Sea, and giant puppets also based on Taiwan folklore.
They had a very cool Brazilian-drum marching band playing Samba-Reggae during their processions, with many costumes dancers.
