Local villagers clinging on overloaded jeep taxi in Meghalaya (India)
Jeep taxis and local buses take as much freight and passengers as possible, there is no maximum occupation or maximum load rules in India!
I took this series of photos in a village in the East Khasi Hills, a region of the Meghalaya State in North-East India, inhabited by the Khasi people.
