Near the remote village of Mawlynnong in North-Eastern India, on one special day every spring, for a few minutes only, this huge balancing boulder silently rises and appears to be floating in the air a few inches from the ground.
By the most incredible chance, I was there at the right time and managed to take this photo of the unexplained phenomenon that only a few indigenous Khasi people had witnessed before.
This natural landmark is locally known as "Maw Ryngkew Sharatia" which means Balancing Rock.
