Riding a motorbike through Lautan Pasir (the "Sea of Sand") in the Tengger Caldera..
This very soft sand is actually thin volcanic ash, and there is about 5 Km of it to go through.
That's my rented motorbike: a Honda Supra 125cc Semi-Auto (4 speed) with disk brakes. It's an excellent little bike that really goes everywhere, does great on dirt roads and uses little gas. It's a popular model in Indonesia. My backpack is in the white rice bag, and I have two 5-liter jerrycans of extra gas in side pannier bags.
