Young Hindu woman puts a floating offering on the Ganges river, at the Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh (India)

Floating offerings are made of a leaf, marigold flowers and other small gifts to the Gods, and have a little candle wick that is lit-up and burns while the offering is floating away on the river.
