Floating offerings are made of a leaf, marigold flowers and other small gifts to the Gods, and have a little candle wick that is lit-up and burns while the offering is floating away on the river.
The Triveni Ghat of Rishikesh is a sacred place for Hindu people, who come here to pray, make offerings and take a holy dip in the Ganges river. It is the largest and most famous Ghat in Rishikesh.
